1. Not a bank or licensed financial institution
Coconut is a commerce technology platform. It is not a bank, financial institution or licensed payment processor. Coconut Banking services, including stablecoin payments and wallet features, are provided in partnership with licensed third-party infrastructure providers and are subject to applicable financial regulation in each jurisdiction. Users are responsible for ensuring compliance with local laws on digital payments, foreign exchange and cross-border commerce.
2. Shipping & logistics
Shipping is facilitated through partnerships with third-party carriers including DHL, UPS, FedEx and independent local couriers. Coconut does not own or operate any vessels, aircraft or courier fleets. Rates, delivery timelines and availability are set by the carriers and may change without notice. Coconut accepts no liability for lost, delayed, damaged or seized shipments beyond what is expressly stated in our Terms of Service. International shipments are subject to customs duties and import regulations of the destination country, which are the responsibility of the sender and/or recipient.
3. Connectors marketplace
The Coconut Connectors marketplace facilitates introductions between merchants and independent third-party providers (packaging, compliance, financial services, marketing tools and more). Coconut does not endorse, warrant or assume liability for the services, pricing, quality or regulatory compliance of any third-party listed in Connectors. Merchants engage at their own discretion and risk.
4. Merchant content & transactions
Product information, pricing, availability and descriptions on Coconut-powered storefronts are the sole responsibility of the merchant. Coconut is not party to transactions between merchants and their customers and accepts no liability for disputes, returns, refunds or failed deliveries arising from those transactions.
5. Stablecoin & digital currency risk
Stablecoin and digital-currency features involve risks including price volatility of underlying assets, regulatory changes, smart-contract vulnerabilities and settlement delays caused by blockchain network conditions. These features are not covered by any government deposit insurance scheme. Users should exercise independent judgment and seek professional financial advice before relying on digital-currency features for business-critical transactions.
6. Trademarks & third-party references
All trademarks, service marks, trade names and logos displayed on the Coconut platform are the property of their respective owners. Reference to any third-party product, service or company does not constitute or imply endorsement by Coconut Platforms Limited or OpenCrate Limited.
